About us:
As the organizers of one of the largest student-run hackathons in Southern California, HackSC seeks to inspire and empower the next generation of tech leaders. We are more than an ordinary hackathon organization; we are building a creative, collaborative, and innovative platform where the brightest minds come together to turn their ideas into reality.
Every line of code, every pixel in a design, and every idea can change the world, and we are accomplishing this through our carefully crafted events and experiences focused around technology and innovation. From bringing in speakers such as Reddit CEO Steve Huffman and Patreon founder Sam Yam to building Hibiscus — our all-in-one hackathon management solution — HackSC is a place where anyone from any background can contribute to the future of technology.
The role:
Do you love forming and maintaining relationships with other people? Are you always curious and creative about the ways that event planners get funding (💰)? Do you want to join the force that makes fabulous events happen in the first place? Join HackSC as a passionate partnerships coordinator on the partnerships team!
Who you are:

You have the ability and responsibility to work independently but also love to collaborate with your team to come up with creative solutions to reach out/attract more partners!

You are willing to study and fully understand our event as well as our potential partners’ needs, find connections, and form a link between us and the partners through those connections!

You are interpersonal (either in person or through emails) and can communicate clearly and effectively!

You are on top of your emails, and always reply in a timely fashion!

You like to expand your toolbox by making resources for partners, such as making slide decks for partner presentations using Figma!
