As the organizers of one of the largest student-run hackathons in Southern California, HackSC seeks to inspire and empower the next generation of tech leaders. We are more than an ordinary hackathon organization; we are building a creative, collaborative, and innovative platform where the brightest minds come together to turn their ideas into reality.

Every line of code, every pixel in a design, and every idea can change the world, and we are accomplishing this through our carefully crafted events and experiences focused around technology and innovation. From bringing in speakers such as Reddit CEO Steve Huffman and Patreon founder Sam Yam to building Hibiscus — our all-in-one hackathon management solution — HackSC is a place where anyone from any background can contribute to the future of technology.

Do you love building interactive experiences that wows the user and work on important products that gets deployed to hundreds of users? Join us as a product-minded engineer on our Engineering team.

Who you are:

• You love great products, and have built/engineered or have a burning interest in building one.
• You have experience with full-stack technologies, such as React or Node.js
• You thrive under pressure, and ramp up fast. We ship stuff and make strong progress every week.
• You’re cool and have a passion in creating a better world with technologies. After all, you’re using technology… to get people to build with technology in our events + hackathons; how meta could that be?
